The Minister of Investment, Ms. Kholoud Al-Saqqaf opened the programme ” Leadership Qualifying” for Managers and head of department in Ministry of Investment

Masraf Al Rayan celebrated the graduation of an elite group of its distinguished Qatari branch managers and their assistants who participated in the integrated training program in banking branch management, which was organized by the Talent Department at Masraf Al Rayan under the title: “Managing Banking Branches” in cooperation with Osool Training and Consulting Company.

OSOOL for Training & Consulting has implemented a training qualifying program of a Certified Internal Auditor,CIA in order to qualify the participants for an international exam to obtain the certificate of CIA from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), which is considered as a leading aspect in the world of auditing empowering the professionals on this field, in order to excellence their performances, it is a fellowship certificate of internal auditors and it helps to set new qualified generation professionally & internationally to face the economic challenges which have been faced by the world at the age of globalization, the need of labor markets to the holders of this certificate, therefore rising the value of benefits and job opportunities for them. The program was attended by an elite group of institutions in Oman.

In cooperation with the Capital Market Authority, OSOOL for training and consulting concluded the activities of the distinctive training program (Talent Management), which targeted workers in the second administrative level in the Omani insurance companies, the program also highlighted the concept of talent management as one of the new threads that was involved by human resources department and its various activities, especially in modern times, and the impact caused to the institutions that adopt this approach and its influence in the culture, as well as the awareness of the most important talent management strategies and how to deal with them because of their competitive advantage of direct impact on the levels of performance, and the importance of investing in talent management for the direct impact in reducing the physical and economic cost of the foundation. Through the implementation program, OSOOL has started with a pretest at the beginning in order to prepare and motivate the participants and measure their levels, then the acquainting of theoretical concepts, and discussion and dialogue and exchange of experiences between the expert instructor and participants. Emphasis was placed on workshops and questionnaires, and the program was concluded with a posttest to measure the benefiting of participants and the extent of their development.

In order to enable the auditors to carry out banking operations professionally and efficiently, OSOOL for Training & Consulting, in cooperation with Internal Control Institute - ICI , conducted the Professional Program for Banking Audit Activities for Federal Board of Supreme Audit, in Holiday Inn Hotel in Amman - Jordan, to provide them with the skills, tools and mechanisms for this, by building their capacity to plan and perform the procedures of auditing operations of banking activities, according to the best practices, where the program has been divided for a number of key themes, such as the decisions of the Basel committee on internal control of the banks, and auditing banking activities such as banking credit, documentary credits, treasury and investment, risk management, compliance, banking branches, fraud indicators in the banks and the Final Accounts of banks, and they were trained on methodologies and best practices in it. The program was accomplished by a number of banking experts, each according to his specialization and experience in the field of auditing banking activities.

OSOOL for Training & Consulting held a training program entitled (Internal Audit Standards in accordance with IIA), in Amman - Jordan, during the period 07/31 to 08/04/ 2016. The program aims to clarify the main concepts to the standards of internal audit, which had been developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors IIA according to the updated version, showing the amendments to those standards, and the definition of the concept of quality assurance and evaluating it, and inform them of the components of the internal auditor's report in accordance with international standards, the participants discussed the contentious issues in applying those standards. The program targeted the internal auditors, heads of audit departments, directors of audit and members of audit committees, with participants from different organizations such the Arab Bank, Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank, Investment Bank, Capital Bank, Jordan Kuwait Bank, Military Credit Fund, United Company for Financial Investment, Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company and Capital Investment.

OSOOL for training and consulting implemented a specialized workshop about (preparation and presentation of the financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS), in order to explain to the participants the scientific principles and International Financial Reporting Standards that control preparing the financial statements, to demonstrate the requirements of international accounting standards for inventory and processing accounting errors and the timing of revenue recognition , as well as discussing how to recognize, measure and display the financial instruments. The workshop also aimed to familiarize the participants with the accounting treatment of the assets of long-term and how to view them according to these international reports, to develop the participants' skills in performing substantive procedures to process contingent liabilities and the recognition of allotments, and the workshop also targeted personnel departments of accounting, internal audit , the authors of the of financial statements, financial analysts, and management accountants. It was held in Amman, Jordan Sheraton Hotel in the period from 22-26/5/2016 in the presence of participants from various Arab companies and institutions.
