OSOOL for Training and Consulting implemented a training program to Al- Sahara Bank in Amman-Jordan during the period 25-29/10/2015 under title the program was “Recent Developments in Documentary Credits, International Standards and Letters of Guarantee”. The participants were from the Bank’s departments of accreditations and guarantee letters. The program focused on the concept and importance of documentary credits as well as on their different types and parties. The program also focused on the operating course and the risks of foreign trade. The condensed practical cases, presented by the proficient trainer and the participants, played an important role in teaching the participants how to assess and evaluate the risks of foreign trade, what tools might reduce those risks and the relation between documentary credits and the financial data and lists. The cases were based on the real operations in the banks of Libya.
